Article below suggests Saudi/India oil relationship is not as strong as it appeared.

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Indian state refiners are planning to cut oil imports from Saudi Arabia by about a quarter in May, in an escalating stand-off with Riyadh following OPEC’s decision to ignore calls from New Delhi to help the global economy with higher supply.

. . . . .
Indians just order extra oil and fill it up in Storage , while Oil prices are forced down
Saudia is just making sure only limited oil is sold so India pays MARKET price

Saudia will only sell oil , according to Opec's official guideline in order to stabilize oil prices

. .
Begger asking for free oil hahaha
I wonder what happened to all that money they had

look who is talking :D
People getting oil on credit talking about begging .. haha

credit stopped .
Time for Pakistan to make move

dollars should be there to make move .

.
So basically Saudi cannot sell to India and India seek other oil from already tight oil supply. I will not surprise for oil price to surpass 70 USD again in the coming weeks.

look who is talking :D

never asked anyone "bhai tail bohot mehga ker dya hay thora sasta do", yes we took it on credit but always paid the full price....Your Country have reached the lowest point in the history.

.
India will get higher oil price deal if it abandon Saudi

The US does not have to adhere to OPEC quotas. That's why I'm not sure about your said. However, India's strong-engagement with the United States in every field will have some political consequences. May the cumulative cost can be high or not, geopolitical developments and the global financial situation will determine this.

For the past two years, starting with the Trump era, the US has been showing a carrot to some Asian allies (should I say, rabbit?) in their -search of alternatives to China for their production functions- rhetorics. India may be the first economy to observe how feasible this is in reality.
