Defense Minister Prince Muhammad Bin Salman has ordered the construction of a naval base in Jazan in which he arrived on Monday to inspect the armed forces in the southern military zone. He also ordered the construction of houses for the military personnel in Jazan and Najran. — SPA

Prince Mohammed boarded a helicopter to Al-Khubah, where he inspected the Advanced Operations Center and discussed its activities, military plans and tactics, and the importance of upgrading the facility.
He also visited the site for tactical forces, rapid intervention forces of the 18th Brigade, the center for wireless reconnaissance, and Al-Lona drone fleet, which was recently upgraded with the latest technology.

The minister was greeted at King Abdullah Regional Airport by Army General Chief of Staff Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Binyan, the commander of the southern region forces, Maj. Gen. Mutlaq bin Alem Al-Ozima, commander of the Jazan Forces, Maj. Gen. Marei bin Salem Al-Shahrani, and other officials from the region.
He also visited the headquarters of Al-Wajeb Force in Om Al-Turath, where he held discussions with officials on major challenges and several initiatives to improve performance.
