Saudi Aircraft Preparation and Maintenance Company (GDC Middle East) is a company specialized in the maintenance and repair of aircraft and their structures, spare parts and air navigation devices were established in March 2015 by the Public Investment Fund in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. After the Saudi Fund acquired some of the world’s leading companies in a number of developed countries in the aviation industry.

The company seeks to achieve sustainable development and enhance national capabilities in aircraft manufacturing and engineering, and its services include designs, licenses, engineering development, modification and development of aircraft structures, maintenance services, technical support, supply and maintenance services, packaging and repair of aircraft parts, whether military or civilian.

Aviation Engineering

- Support and develop safety of aviation operations and aircraft validity
- Providing engineering solutions for military systems with the latest programs and technologies
- Preparing designs and engineering licenses for aircraft
- Development and updating of technical books and engineering references

The company obtained several contracts from international companies, including a contract in 2017 from the Sierra Nevada Corporation for the development of King Air 350 aircraft to intelligence and surveillance aircraft (ISR), this contract includes radars, secure communications and data connections, optical sensors, as well as structural changes, cabin installation and cockpit adjustments, and avionics installation and testing.

It is also the first Saudi company to make adjustments to reconnaissance planes for the Ministry of Defense of Saudi Arabia..

Also among the existing projects is a project for training and developing the engineers of the Royal Saudi Air Force, as the project includes developing the capabilities of the engineering department and training the distinguished cadres therein. The company is also working on a project to support and maintain a fleet of aircraft belonging to the Royal Saudi Air Force. On the other hand, the company operates helicopter projects that include support, maintenance, operation and training.
