Saudi Arabia Replaces Iran in Sri Lanka – Oil Deals

. .
I feel..India should go along with Iran this time wrt oil. The reason is pretty simple. Iran values more for its stake in Afghanistan that USA. And China and Indian oil consumption, i really doubt can be so easily replaced with Saudi Oil. So in a nut sell, Iran may get some minor impact but major oil consuming countries will still persist with Iran provided Iran provides some support in return.

.
talk about a double-win situation for the Saudis........damn.

it seems western pressure is starting to cause major impact on Iranian oil exports.....i guess they still have some E.Asian and Latin American and African markets remaining. Not sure how long those would last either.
not really
at the rate they're producing, Iran and Iraq will have oil for decades after it dries up in saudi. Plus Iran also has the second largest gas reserves. The oil won't go anywhere. if we can't sell it today, we will sell it one day. In the long scheme of things, nothing changes because, as I said, the oil won't vaporize if we don't sell it. We'll just lose some income today. The saudis though are producing the oil at 3-4 times the rate of Iran. Most of their oil comes from 1 oil well. I don't see how they will be able to continue this for another decade or so (keep in mind that all ME countries have grously exaggerated their oil reserves).

cant argue with most of that, amigo.

I for one believe that this policy of isolating Iran is most counter-productive.

and my advice to Iranian regime:

if you're gonna have a nuclear weapons program (which, its obvious that theyre lying about "purely peaceful purposes").......then do it silently and discreetly, GOD DAMN IT!!

Sri Lanka is not a major importer of Iranian oil, Iran won't even feel a pinch. China and India will always be there for them....err, i mean for their oil. :D

Chances of Iran running out of oil before Saudi's is higher. You people have lower reserves than them and have been pumping for longer than them( since 1913).
