Saudi Arabia has donated a further $80 million to Pakistan boosting a national campaign collection to $106.6 million.
Saudi Arabia earlier this week launched a national campaign to raise aid for the flood victims, with the campaign already collecting more than $26.7 million. The United Nations revealed that contributions and pledges of $272.4 million have so far been received for planned activities of the Pakistan Initial Floods Emergency Response Plan (PIFERP), lagging it behind by $187.3 million.

Between 2006 and 2009, Saudi Arabia provided Pakistan over $1.5 billion in loans and aid, including $700 million pledged at the donor conference in Tokyo on April 17, 2009.

Now i am beginning to understand y we opted for better relations with Saudis even if at the cost of Iran .

The U.S. also raised it's aid to 150 million. As things go on and the scope of the disaster becomes more clear to the rest of the world, I'm sure those figures will continue to rise.

thanx to saudi and hope the money is going to the right people who will spend on welfare of those affectd by floods

Thanks to all friends who are helping us during time of such a big disaster.
