AL-MASMAK is the first worldwide 4X4 armored personnel carrier tested up to STANAG 4569 level 4A & 4B mines resistant levels (double anti-tank mine -14 kg of TNT under the hull) and (triple anti-tank mine - 21 kg of TNT under any wheel) and all around ballistics protection up to STANAG 4569 level 3 (7.62 54mm API 890 m/s and 7.62 63mm AP 830 m/s) and equipped with a state of the art complete protected turret with a 12.7mm machinegun mounting including day and night aiming capabilities as well as 4 smoke grenade launchers.

Level 4:
Kinetic Energy
14.5x114AP / B32 at 200 meters with 911 m/s[1]
Artillery
155*mm High Explosive at 30 m[3]
Grenade and Mine Blast Threat
10*kg (explosive mass) Blast AT Mine:
4A – Mine Explosion pressure activated under any wheel or track location.
4B – Mine Explosion under center.

Artillery Simulator: 20mm FSP (simulating 155mm threat) at 960 m/sec from a distance of 25 meters.

Ammunition: 14.5mm x 114 B32 Armor Piercing-Inciendary
Distance: 200 meters
Projectile Weight: 63.4 grams
Velocity: 911 m/sec
Energy: 26,308 Joules

For comparison we will use the World famous South African Maruder MRAP:

The Marauder’s double-skin monocoque hull provides protection against projectiles up to STANAG*4569 Level*III for the crew compartment.

Threat Level 3 (Sniper Rifle)

Artillery Simulator: 20mm FSP (simulating 155mm threat) at 770 m/sec from a distance of 60 meters. Due to very low probability of a large fragment retaining enough velocity at these distances, STANAG 4569 makes this optional.

Ammunition: 7.62mm x 54R B32 Armor Piercing-Inciendary
Projectile Weight: 10 grams
Distance: 30 meters
Velocity: 854 m/sec
Energy: 3,647 Joules

Ammunition: 7.62mm x 51 AP M993 (WC Core)
Projectile Weight: 8.4 grams
Distance: 30 meters
Velocity: 930 m/sec
Energy: 3,633 Joules

Level 3

Kinetic Energy
7.62 x 51 AP (WC core) at 30 meters with 930 m/s[1]
Grenade and Mine Blast Threat
8*kg (explosive mass) Blast AT Mine:
3A – Mine Explosion pressure activated under any wheel or track location.
3B – Mine Explosion under center.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So this proves without any doubt that Al-Masmak is the world's best MRAP. :yahoo::woot:

I think we and other Muslim Countries should focus on making a diesel electric system by utilizing newer engines that are more cheaper in terms of cost and maintenance for generating electric current and can used in Military Vehicles. I think its quite High time that HIT and HMC should focus on modernizing and opening new plants in Dadu(North West) region of Sindh and in Balochistan along with PAC and KRL and also doing JV with Turksih firms on Land Vehicle programs.
