Excuses and more excuses, from the bloody Indian liars.
How about India withdraw their occupation army and let the people of Kashmir decide their fate.
Atleast read the conditions of plebiscite instead of talking crap as usual.

I wonder what the Chinese think about this issue of weapons of their design falling into the hands of Anti-Assad forces in Syria.
China has been a strong supporter of the Assad regime.

chinese weapons are in the hands of all extremists throughout the world, ttp, alqaeda, isis, fsa (chinese manpads used against assad helos), naxals etc.

Pakistan should follow Chinese example in weapon sales....ttp recruits in syria will get their hands on these weapons one day which inadvertantly will make its way into Pakistan.

Dubai: Saudi Arabia is in talks with Pakistan to provide anti-aircraft and anti-tank rockets to Syrian rebels to try to tip the balance in the war to overthrow President Bashar Al Assad, a Saudi source said on Sunday.

The United States has long opposed arming the rebels with such weapons, fearing they might end up in the hands of extremists, but Syrian opposition figures say the failure of Geneva peace talks seems to have led Washington to soften its opposition.

Pakistan makes its own version of Chinese shoulder-launched anti-aircraft missiles, known as Anza, and anti-tank rockets both of which Riyadh is trying to get for the rebels, said the source, who is close to Saudi decision-makers, requesting anonymity.

The source pointed to a visit to Riyadh earlier this month by Pakistans army chief of staff, General Raheel Sharif, who met Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz.

Prince Salman himself last week led a large delegation to Pakistan, shortly after Saudis chief diplomat Prince Saud Al Faisal visited the kingdoms key ally.

Jordan will be providing facilities to store the weapons before they are delivered to rebels within Syria, the same source said.

AFP could not obtain confirmation from officials in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan or Jordan.

The head of the Syrian opposition, Ahmad Jarba, promised during a flying visit to northern Syria last week that powerful arms will be arriving soon.

Rebels have long said that anti-aircraft and anti-tank rockets would help tip the balance in the battle against Al Assads forces, which enjoy air superiority.

The nearly-three-year conflict in Syria has torn the country apart, killing more than 140,000 people, including some 50,000 civilians, according to the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights

So you dont antiicipate any long term effects of supplying weapons to rebels fighting against a state?. nice.

The Saudis are making it clear for whom those weapons are meant for and against whom it will be used again, so playing coy will not fool anyone.

Try selling weapons to the Syrian regime and see what happens.

They are getting it from third party and it can be India too. Not our fault.

Why doesnt India sell weapons to Syrian govt ? see for fighting the terrorists ;)

wars r not won just by weapons but by strategic planning exactly what Iranians have been doing (even in our back yards
)..........i think we will not only provide weapons but also play an active role in setting up a command n control center:pakistan:

Sounds Strange. There was another thread with the same name that had lasted 17 pages of replies and I copy my post from there on page 16.

Instead of being a party in the conflict by supplying weapons and adding fuel to fire, Pakistan, Turkey and other sane countries in the region should stress Iran for help towards a peaceful settlement of the problem so that a new government is elected by popular vote and the rights of Shias are very very carefully protected in the future. More conflict might be liked by some nations and rise of Al Qaeda might become even greater problem for rest of the world and countries in the region.

We do not want to be party in any conflict to create more problems for everyone. And we should be proud if we could play a constructive role towards a good settlement of the problem that actually brings a fair democratic system and also protects every minority in Syria.

Any request by Saudi government has to be evaluated by us according to these principles. We do not want it to be a Shia-Sunni issue and have to solve it according to "good human principles".

Selling weapons to shady countries who fund and arm extremists - doesnt take much to know where they wil end upp finally.

No thanks, we like to stay neutral because we know what will be the outcome of it.

@Spring Onion, what happened about Saudis demand of 12000 Pakistani soldiers to fight in Syria? is Pakistan sending them? - Refusing Saudis is not possible for Pakistan I believe.

Assad father was best buddy of Bhutto and friend of Pakistan and supported Kashmir cause . PPP is already angry at Nawaz for taking rebel side. How it will go ???? let s see how the national interest policy is served in the mirror of past and future...

Saudis spend billions and are armed to the teeth with weapons. Why the heck do they need Pakistan to supply the Syrian Rebels with weapons? Why can't the Saudis themselves supply the weapons?

Russia, US is openly selling them. So they dont need indirect ones.

I do not think it has anything to do with past favors and friendship. Favors of the regime to any third country should not affect the right of Syrian people for a democratic government. The right way to solve the issue is to protect everybody's rights and property and hold a popular vote and make sure new government continues to respect the rights and property of every citizen alike without any reference to shia or sunni sect.

We would have liked to go into the past and seek how to try those people who have done wrong in the present regime according to established human principles but I strongly fear that this would come in the way of peace and the conflict will continue to heat up and the fire of hatred and the civil war will continue to hurt every Syrian. It would be better to end bloodshed right away and everyone should be given amnesty and property rights are freezed as they are at present and then hold a popular vote to elect new government with the same condition that they will have to honor sanctity of human life and property rights.

Nice thoughts.

But for all that to happen there has to be complete cessation of violence, a stop to war, Syria unfortunately has become a battleground between Russia and US and the UN is useless. I dont see how any sanity will return there.

Its all game of media perception ...If Syrian people were so much in democracy, they should have done long ago. Why an armed democratic movement started all of sudden from nowhere......now a country is totally messed up and home of Alkaida.
Where hundred of Pakistani taliban fight along along with Alkida and selling a anti air weapon in such condition....in next few days we never know ....we heard the news of downed PAF plane....remember mercenaries are bunch of most corrupt people, who only work for money. Like Afghan armed mercenaries sold Stringer to Iran....
Or same weapon used against any Western country and Pakistan end up in trouble. A recovery of Pakistani weapon from terrorist...can come out hundred of scenario where Pakistani govt end up trouble.....
