So i got my new Samsung Galaxy TabS2 tablet like 4 weeks ago. Today it got a firmware update...it crashed...i was unable to get it on and had to press the button for minutes. When it went back on (thanks god) it told me the update failed and i must go to a Samsung Service Center. :D

WTF is wrong with this company`? My old iPad2 worked fine for 5 years i actually regret i bought this shit now...

Even worse when i went on their website to see for help i staretd a chat...it told me i´m in row 14 and need to wait like an hour in this fucking chat or write an email. I pressed Email and had to write that entire data nonsense again.

I threw this garbage on my bed and went to the beach...hoping that i get a response when i´m back home. Now 4 hours later still no response.

This company is bad in evry aspect. Well at least it didnt explode yet i guess.

Samsung touchwiz software is the culprit. It doesn't work ideally with this and many other sites. Stock Android is the way to go.

I told you man, pixel C!

Was over my budget :/

Well i went cheap and got cheap i guess

What browser do you use? Google Chrome is known to have performance issues on Samsung devices. Try the stock browser. It should somewhat better.

Its not a browser issue. Its a firmware update that crashed. It doesnt even give me option to do again. It says to go to a Samsung Service center.

Google it. I'm sure there must be a way to revert to previous firmware update etc. I also have a Samsung tablet. Runs pretty decent and never had any firmware update issues. You are lucky it didn't get bricked which is also a real possibility when firmware updates go wrong. If you can't find a way I would contact Samsung and demand a new tablet. It is a new tablet as you said. It is not your fault unless you did something really crazy during the firmware update.

:omghaha:
Samsung is indeed loosing it, they should test their products more before launching updates and new products.

Such things can happen. It also happens to products of other vendors. Samsung is not an exception.

do a reset search it on youtube usually you press on button and volume button together for some length of time then a reboot happens.

Forget the firmware, bought a Samsung TabA 10.1" for my father April 4, below is a pic of the charging cable after 10 days:

It's sad, i'm still using my old Samsung i3 from 5 years ago.

LG from now on.

Did a restart and clicked through some hidden options and managed to do the update again. Now it seems it does what it is supposed to do...

But i´m still pissed about their customer service.

It very hard to kill Samsung phone if you know how android work. You can simply go in download mode( often by pressing vol down key and power key at the same time for 5/6 second) and flash latest firmware via software ODIN to make it as new
