Group Captain Hamid Faraz, who until recently was Lahore base commander has made a great impression in aviation circles with his extra ordinary talent of aviation photography. Although he takes pictures of both civil and military aircraft, however his ability to capture the military aircraft in their element is certainly deserving of all the praise, perhaps he himself being a fighter pilot knows how to bring out the best in military aviation. I have had the pleasure of speaking to this honourable officer and a gentleman. As a tribute to him, this is some of his work we have seen and enjoyed over the years.

Yep saw his page. Why is there no official page of PAF that's regularly updated with multimedia along with other updates like the ISPR official, Which posts 9/10 posts related to only army.

PAF official website.
The work of Sir HFK actually belongs to PAF, only recently he has been allowed to post some of his images.
The real classic ones specially those of Block-52s haven't been released yet.

Had the honour of meeting him at PAF Kamra when he was OC No.14 Squadron. A professional yet very humble. I recall him mentioning that the F-6 was his favourite jet that he has flown.

@Windjammer can you name for us the missile armament of the J-7 in the pictures and by the way the complete air to air missile arsenal of the J-7 and J-7PG, and tell us which missile has the longest range that the J-7 can carry, and how would you arm 4 x J-7 fighters for an air defence mission against two SU-30 MKI (the SU-30MKI have entered the Border), take the nearest air Base near the Border which houses a J-7 squadron.

AIRDEFENCE ALERT:everyone is invited to play this war game here, but be realistic no wrong emotions and wishes only the reality: Good Luck !
