Sajid Hasan shares horrifying hair transplant ordeal

Veteran actor Sajid Hasan has come forward on social media with his harrowing experience of a hair transplant gone wrong.

In a video on Facebook, he shared that a doctor acquaintance of his was chasing him for nine years to perform a hair transplant procedure on him. Two months ago, Hasan said he finally consented.

Little did he know that his hair transplant would go very wrong.

Hasan said that he underwent the procedure without any tests, though he knows now that that isn't standard procedure. He said that the doctor, whom he left unnamed, just laid him down and attempted the hair transplant on him.

"I fell ill the next day," shares Hasan. "For 10-15 days, I was in bed with a fever and infection and the doctor just kept assuring me that I'll get better." Hasan revealed that the doctor would only cleanse his scalp with saline water when we would go in for check-ups.

"It's been one month of a lot of suffering for me and family. I've lost out on some work. Through this video, I want to raise awareness about the importance of research. Everyone should check 10 times before undergoing a procedure and opt for the right surgeon."

The video went viral on social media and people have since been tweeting about it.

Watched Sajid Hassan's video. I'm not posting the images as some of you might find them disturbing. Tbh, I'm hopeless and I don't expect the government to revoke their licences or take an action against them. So beware of these unqualified cosmetic surgeons. Don't trust the ads.

Feel sorry for Sajid Hassan who is such a fine artist and human being. Why on earth he decided to go for hair transplant when he already look so well in his current appearance. May God help him to recover his health soon.

The doctor who did performed hair transplant procedure on Sajid Hassan the great should be punished under the law and govt should take stern action against all fake doctors who could be a risk as lives of millions are in their hands.

Feeling very sorry for Sajid Hassan, he has been through such a life threatening ordeal and may require further plastic surgery since his wound apparently needs skin grafting over the vertex.

Yaar this is soo sick and disturbing i cant say anything about hes my fav actor i can only pray for his fast recovery.

Man i am so disturbed seeing this very disturbed. He should sue the doc n get him to pay his recovery costs.

One has to be careful in the surgeons they pick recently one uncles son died while going thru some hair transplant procedure. I am not sure that was his doctors fault or the guy himself failed to follow instructions, i dont recall. The drugs he had administered through scalp cused him a heart stroke, i have totally forgotten details now as it has been months. But it was shared by his family that his death had something to do with transplant surgery he was going thru in paksitan.

Yaar i am so sad for sajid i will pray for him.

He is shia and was out in a moharram procession when a blast happened in 2009 ,he had lost his brother and bhabhi to it. He himself had suffered some v minor injuries, minor injuries nothing serious.

Man i feeling so bad for him , he is such a good actor.

He has been doing lots of dramas so i assume he can afford a transplant surgery form expensive and reputed surgeons.

ALSO ONE MAJOR ISSUE WITH REGARDS TO HAIR TRANSPLANT MUST NE HIGHLIGHTED. Now i have written it in caps so that anyone who is seeking the procedure will research on it and will find out pros and cons or side effects of it before booking an appointment for the treatment.

For the longest time majority of us people always assumed hair transplanst is one of the most harmless cosmetic procedures where a patient goes to the clinics , gets his scalp examined and starts getting haird weaved into his scalp.

But unfortunately this is where we all have been wrong and enough awareness had never been imparted to people that hair transplant like any cosmetic procedure also is a risky semi risky stuff which if being performed by an inexperienced , con doctor could not only cause u serious health issues it could cost one his life too. Even if ur surgeon is a well reputed one ,the possible side effects and potential post treatment infections could still effect the patient.

So enough awareness about downsides and potential risks attached with hair tarnsplant must be given to general public ,mthis absence of info in public domain is causing many uninformed people some serious costs.

I too would jot have been aware of these things ahd it not been for my uncles son to die so young from the post hair transplant session caused infection.

At 65 he doesnt need to attract women . Btw there is another veteran actor waseem abbas i would often see him in very thick hair and wouldnt stop praising him for such naturally thick hair head at this age until i discovered he wears a wig . And its fine he looks very normal and great in it. I am happy he didnt put himself thru the risk of hair transplants.

But theres a young actor zahid ahmed he balded young , tho his career started around late 20s. He went for hair transplant which gave him a very polished look then he starred in dramas, is a great actor and is now having a thriving career. But one could easily say in zahid ahmeds success 20 pc credit goes to his looks that were enhanced due to his hair transplants.
