What's new

S e x and the Syrian Revolution

So the answer is 0, ZERO, NADA

Thats the problem. Your asking muslims in syria to be ruled by some alewite king. I dont care how many patsy's and puppets the man has in his government

It is heartbreaking to see what has happened in syria, the west loves it, the jews love it.

But change brings chos and this chos and change in the muslim world is vital because the existing situation with useless dictators like gaddaffi and assad is intolerable

Assad should have left and tried to allow and facilitate a transition, but he and the alewites have killed too many muslims, They have made this personnel

Same could be said about Bahrain. Since most are Shiites, why does a sunni dynasty allied to KSA rule them? Do they have any right? Would you agree?

Now your point about the west. You bash the west, but don't even mention the muslim countries actively supporting the rebels.

I don't like any side, but at least be fair.

Its now my understanding that many muslims both Shiite and sunnis, but mainly sunnis are severely intellectually deficient.

They are being ruled by opportunists and believe in absolute non-sense and follow it blindly.

This is my opinion and analysis which I am entitled to.

Alewites are indeed syrians but they are not Muslims and their actions are a declaration of war and animosity against all Muslims

They are a small minority in Syria and it is unacceptable and intolerable that they have ruled and lauded it over the syrian population for so long

The situation in Bahrain is similar but tens of thousands havent been killed

Propaganda won't change this fact

They Alewites are screwed their time in Syria is coming to an end

This "revolution" only bought destruction and death upon Syrians... Syrians lived in peace and joy, Syrians were the ones who did not have to worry about putting food on the table, everything for life needs were free in Syria, including medication, hospitals, schools and etc.. now this "revolution" comes and makes it halal to rape and kill people because they are somehow different from you, or they have different beliefs or etc... it makes prostitution halal, and what's worse, those calls came from outside Syria... some sick minded "sheikh" made the so called "sexual jihad" fatwa so he can bring more terrorists into Syria, it was a way to persuade terrorists... this is one of the sickest "revolution" (terrorism) humanity will witness...

I've been in Syria twice . I did see the real peace there man , People were happy and had no problem with each other , Alawites , Christians and Sunnis were living together in peace but look at this country now . Some terrorists are paid to destroy the country under the cover of jihad and some crazier ones supporting them .

Actions speak louder than words. Zardari and co said a similar thing that they are against intervention. Doesn't mean anything.

We sent envoys to Syria first from the non-permanent group of UNSC members.

What are you expecting us to do?

Send our military in?

That will contradict our stand in the very first place "No external intervention".

There's a big difference between being elected non-permanent member of UNSC and just any country issuing statements.

We officially made our stand against a NATO intervention and it pissed the Americans off real bad.

In fact, all the BRICS countries stood against invasion of Syria.

india has strong relations with Syria and Iran's enemies in the region.

india has strengthened its defence ties with Saudi in recent years, as well as it has been pushing towards limiting its dependence on Iranian oil at the request of Saudi Arabia in order to isolate Iran and strangle its economy.

You guys really don't understand geo-strategy, do you?

For your country-folk, it is always either this or that. Never a stable balance.

Well, can't blame you considering you've not really stood alone on your own in your modern history.

See, our ties with KSA, Israel, Iran, Brazil, Chile and any other country on this planet, are BILATERAL.

Let's see what this means:

It means what we have with a country X, stays between India and the country X.

If X has a problem with Y and the fight and Y is also a friend of ours, then we will not participate in the war on behalf of either X or Y and at the most, try to encourage X and Y to solve their problems without a conflict. In such a scenario, we will not be against either but see what can be the best way to solve the problem; or keep out of it altogether.

But then this doesn't go in line with what you said in your previous post:

How?

What has IDF got to do with our political stand?

No country influences our external affairs and Israelis do what they deem is best in their neighbourhood.

It has neither asked us nor we are telling them what to do and what not to do.

But in UN we made our stand clear and it had an impact.

The best part of this was that we were consistent with China and Russia (All 3 BRICS members with 2 of them as permanent members).

That's what matters from our side.

How do you stand with Russia and Syria when you have strong relations with the states actively supporting and funding these armed groups? By being neutral. Lol, you've got to be kidding me.

Sigh...

You need to understand international affairs well before commenting.

I suggest you to re-read the X and Y example above I gave in italics. :coffee:

I agree.

Been to Aleppo and enjoyed its main bazaar.

Wonderful historical country with monumental buildings, friendly people and delicious cuisine.

Today, it is painful to see on Jazeera TV or online what kind of war is raging inside the city.

This is not about having a alewite leader

Its the problem of the muslim population of syria of having no option but to have an alewite leader, why should they be forced to abide by the whims of a dictator and his community

the problem is not that the law of Syria have been fixed 2 years ago before the internal war and opened they way for parties and different groups , the problem is some people say they must give the power and everything to us on a tray and we won't believe in letting people of Syria decide for themselves what they want .

first as far as we and many other Muslims minus takfires are concerned they are a branch of Islam .(they believe in Unity of God , they Believe in Holy prophet and they believe in Judgement day , they believe in Quran ) I wonder what you need more to believe somebody is Muslim ?

and why because they are minority they must excluded from Syrian political scene while they themselves while in power didn't excluded others ?

honestly these sort of mentality is like 1400 year outdated ة

The muslim population of Syria were ruled by a alewite dictator

Dont talk rubbish, how long do you think the majority should have accepted being ruled by a dictator who promoted his own sick community, there is no more syria, the bonds between the muslims and the alewite sect has not only been broken but the animosity and anger that have been created will haunt the alewites for centuries

The above story is just propaganda rubbish, the reality is reagrdless of the pain it is only a matter of time before assad falls the hard truth is the alewites will not find peace in sysria in the future
and this isnt the first time..asad father killed over 30,000 people in 80s to keep his ironclad rule..the sons and relatives started the rebellion seeing successful rebellions in other areas

They are not muslims, they are alewites. They have burnt the bridges with the muslim world. They are now rejected by the arab world and hated by the muslims of the world. The writing is on the wall for them (just a reality of the situation)

No one is excluding them from politics, they are a minority and should be fairly represented.

But this is not the case, they are the Rulers, the dictators the masters who have lauded it over the mostly non-alewite syrian people.

It is a dictatorship NOT a democracy they were not voted into power they usurped it. They have killed tens of thousands to keep their power and status.

Why should the muslims of syria be slaves to these people, there has been NO sunni muslim president of the country for decades, in a country which is majority sunni arab muslim how is this fair or acceptable

First they are muslims as they believe in pillar of islam and they pray as muslims and ......

Second which arab country is a democracy .

And third the constitition of syria have been changed so other political parties also can compete so why they fear to particate in such democratic process. Isn't it because even according to cia more than 70% of syrian support mr. Assad ?

And forth if allavite are monopolizing syrian political scene then how majority of cabinet is sunni and vice president is also sunni ? Does we have sunni allavite?

They are not Muslims, their beliefs and actions have taken them out of the fold of islam and they are now even rejected by the arab world. They have no where to run to

Just because no Arab country is a democracy doesn't mean that we should accept brutal dictatorship

Why should Muslims partake in a fake political process, theydid that in Egypt and look where it got them

A handful of puppets dont mean anything when they can't even choose their own leader
