So the West is again bemoaning Belrus' redirection and landing of a RyanAir flight. I give the West 7 to 8 years for complete amnesia. And if there are any bobby jindal types on this forum who open their mouth to decry how autocratic a move this is, please read the following before you embarrass yourself. The hypocrisy and flat out deceit and double standard is next dimensional. As an elder of mine often says, "yeh din ko raat or raat to din bana deitey hain".

Well good on Belarus. They are NOT a Banana Republic unlike MANY others.

The countries that claim world leadership now have their knives drawn at Belarus. Sanctions, flight bans and what not. All of a sudden, there is talk about human rights and freedom.

Just last week, all of them were sleeping when Israel was butchering Palestinians in the name of fighting terror. These same countries then were telling us 'Israel has a right to defend itself'.

We tend to forget these episodes. But these help us remind the hypocrisy of the 'free world'. The free world is holding on to its colonial past and Israel is the biggest manifestation of the colonialism.

By the way, well done Belarus! This is the way to deal with these hypocrites.
