I guess Pakistan should stay out of it as Turkey might be a muslim country but it is the most secular muslim country,,, and attack on Russian plane was on instruction of NATO and against another Islamic government (Assad, no matter he is Shia but as long he recites Kalma is is legally Muslim)... So nor Turkey is right whereas Russia is partially right as it is supporting the legitimate government,,, Furthermore, Russia also acted responsibly while pushing Assad to hand over chemical weapons,,,

In this conflict Russia seems to be on right side and against oppression of ISIS and west,, whereas on the other side there are Turks which are Muslim,, so its better that we should avoid taking sides...

The only positive rule Pak could play is to help them establishing di[plmatic relationship between the countries ... That would be greatest role if we could do,,,

Same rule of Pakistan would be ideal in case of Yemen War and Saudi , Iran conflict ...

Russia was right to go after ISIS but it shouldn't have hit Turkmen who were also fighting ISIS. They should have gone careful in their bombing rather than blasting everything to ground. Russia should have coordinated with Turkey. It was a mistake by Russia which led all to this chain of events.

Pakistanis don't go in for sectarian purpose and they shouldn't but we are talking about people of Turkey, a nation who has Shias, Sunnis and many other sects living peacefully together in a flower bouquet called Turkey. I am not a war monger neither my countrymen. War is highly unlikely but dropping a nuke on Turkey is some kind of joke??? It is nightmare for Pakistanis. I am not in government nor a geo-political expert but my opinion on this, that may be in little few skirmishes b/w Turkey and Russia, Pakistani people may not become angry but in case of full fledged war b/w Turkey and Russia occurring on Turkish soil, i may be wrong but i think what we will see would be doomsday scenario in Pakistan, Thousands of Pakistanis will be willing to fight for Turkey, whole nation will be having sympathies with Turks. Our Government will be in pure mess. Islamabad will be shocked and will have no choice except to help Turkey and will get involved automatically. They can't remain neutral.

Can we remain neutral when Israel attacks/wages war on our neighbor Iran??? Answer is big NO. Even if government somehow managed to neutral, people particularly Shias will be taking up arms and will try to cross border. Sunnis too, will oppose Israel brutally.

It is understandable. Some times you have to take sides, you can't remain neutral forever and leave your ally country on its own. Our relations with Russia are much better than before but our relations with Turkey predates even our independence. We are having relations with them for generations. This relation is holy. This relation formed because blood was spilled. It is that serious.

Everyone should pray that May Diplomacy wins. Situation deescalates and back to normal. I agree with you that our government should come out of their lazy asses and start playing its role in normalizing situation. This situation demands Pakistani commitment. Stay in touch with Turks and Russians, become a bridge b/w them and solve this fukin mess once and for all.

1. Illusion of good and bad terrorist should not be there,, terrorist are terrorist be it turkmen isis or anyone else ... Russia is bombing all terrorist which are trying to remove assad regime,,, whereas USA and Turkey are supplying weapons to some of the terrorists calling them moderate ,,, so is it something wrong with russian strategy to bomd all anti-state actors,,, or turkey is supporting terrorist ???
2. As far as Nuclear Attack is concerned than do you think it will be limited to Turkey and Russia? Once it started it will be quickly spread to whole world, and definitely at that time Pakistan has to select sides,,, but do you think NATO will be pro Islam ???? Who is creator of all civil wars within Muslims countries ? Is it Russia or Israel and USA who are utilizing fault lines within Muslims ?
