The deliveries of Russia’s Kamov Ka-52 Alligator (NATO reporting name: Hokum-B) reconnaissance/attack helicopters to Egypt may start in the second half of this year, CEO of Russian Helicopters rotocraft producer Andrei Boginsky said on Friday.

"The second half of the year," Boginsky said in reply to a question about when the helicopter deliveries could begin.

As was reported earlier, Russia agreed with Egypt on the delivery of 46 Ka-52 Alligator reconnaissance/attack helicopters to Cairo. The first export deliveries of these helicopters were expected to start in 2017

46 is big number , what is per unit cost of this chopper ?

I don't remember now tbh

Nice choice but won't this further tighten your budgetary limitations?

I heard you guys have a big budget deficit right now.

Do you civilian Egyptians approve of this?

Army budget is different than the country budget and economy and both has minimal effect on each other , yes our economy is suffering very badly since 2011 , and this deal isn't that expensive compared to our other arms deals
