I compare same gen jets. Same gen. Relevant. Taiwan Mirage 2000 can go up against China Su-27. Same gen.

No role is different and Mirage-2000 has no chance against pure air defense jet like Su-27, you should compare Mirage-2000 with later models of Chinese J-7/J-8 which have multi-role capability or compare J-10A which has similar role like Mirage-2000 have @undertakerwwefan

PL-12 is active. Early Su-27 bought in the 1990s from Russia only had semi active BVR. No match for Mirage 2000-5 Taiwan bought in the 1990s from France which has MICA active BVR.
