MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia will sell six SU-30 warplanes to Myanmar, the RIA news agency reported on Monday, citing the Russian Defence Ministry.

Myanmar was also interested in buying other Russian military hardware for its land and naval forces, RIA reported.

.
Until the appearance of an strong Muslim country , not these US puppets , the political moves of Russia and China in protecting of Myanmar's harami savages against US-NATO invasion is still justified.

Indeed none of Muslim countries cannot fit this role to protect Muslims all over the world, the Muslims that are being massacred and US makes them it's excuse for invasion on other countries.

In Syria, in Afghanistan, in Palestine, in Libya, etc, the incompetence of Islamic countries is already proven. The only solution to end this mess, is alliance between Islamic countries to take care of oppressed Muslims. And in this case, should exclude USA-NATO's regional puppets.

Wonder how this might impact future sales of JF-17s.
So no jf17 :(
JF17 is a Super cheap to procure and maintain multirole foghter coming without any strings attached. Su30 is an expensive as hell (from myanmar standards) air superiority fighter that is a maintenance hog. Both aircrafts are not comparable.
As for me i dont think myanmar can afford su30. If the news was about m8g35 then that might have been believeable.

. . .
Good, myanmar knows india uses su30, hence they will get lot of spares from india as well along with maintainence, and required training.
Close by service center is always handy.
