The UAE, according to what was stated in interviews with Sergei Chemezov, will obtain all patents, production rights and a factory to meet the local and regional demand for the new fighter.

Whatever it ends up being, I'm pretty sure it will be amazing and take us all by surprise. The way they've been able to keep it quiet all this time with everything going on and in the day and age where leaks are so easy and common is a true testament to how well guarded they wanted this to be, meaning it was worth the effort to do all that which I'm sure wasn't very easy at all. As a result, it will be a heck of an aircraft.

If it ends up being a competitive platform to the F-35, that will add a whole new dynamic to the west/east stealth/low observability 5th & 6th generation platforms.

This is the only way Russia can actually keep some semblance of a pace with the US, is to keep pumping out successfully innovative designs, especially if Sukhoi is taking it's time with the Su-57, it can't sit idle with the success of the F-35 in the international market as well as China's rapid pace with the J-20 and the FC-31 or J-31 whatever it's called.

Looking forward to this for sure.

That's impossible to be 5th gen and 18 ton the F-35 empty over 13 ton fully loaded 27-30 ton the jf-17 in that range and its a toy compared to the bigger one
