KYIV, May 11 /Ukrinform/. Russia should pay Ukraine about $350 billion for damage caused by Russian aggression in Donbas.

Ukrainian First Deputy Minister for Economic Development and Trade Sasha Borovik said this in an interview with Channel 5.

According to him, Ukraine should determine an exact amount and be ready to defend its interests.

"At a certain stage, Russia will pay. We'll have to calculate; we'll have to be prepared, and need to lobby [this issue] everywhere we can," Borovik said.

According to him, Ukraine's losses from Russian aggression are comparable to Kuwait's losses from Iraqi aggression in 1991.

More than 90 percent of Ukraine’s coal production comes from the donbas and around 500,000 people were employed and because of the fighting all those people lost thier jobs and this even has hurted the energy industry.

Militants continue transporting coal to Russia - OSCE| Ukrinform
KYIV, June 3 /Ukrinform/. The OSCE Observer Mission (OM) at Russian checkpoints Gukovo and Donetsk has again reported dumper trucks transporting coal from the Luhansk region to the Russian Federation.

This is stated in the mission's latest report.

"During the reporting week, the OM continued to observe an increased number of trucks crossing the border in both directions. The OTs continued to observe dumper trucks transporting coal from the Luhansk region to the Russian Federation through the BCP Gukovo. The OTs observed intense cargo truck traffic at BCP Donetsk crossing the border in both directions. While the majority of the trucks are registered in Luhansk oblast, during the reporting period the OTs have also observed trucks registered in Belarus crossing the border," the report says.

Separately, the OTs also observed tanker trucks crossing the border both ways. These crossings occurred at both BCPs. These trucks for the most part had the word “Propane” and “Flammable” written across the tanks in Russian.

Also, the mission noted that during the reporting period, the number of men and women in military-style dress crossing the border in both directions decreased from 292 to 257 at both BCPs which is the lowest recorded number since the Observer Mission's inception.
