As I've said before.... Russia/Syria/Iran vs. ISIS and the rest of the islamic kooks is like a Cowboys vs. Giants game. As long as BOTH sides kick the shit out of each other I'm happy. Let's hope it goes overtime !!

Quite an unnecessary war in Syria with out doubt tragic
Most logical folks would not understand why destabilize a peaceful region just to overthrow 1 head of state
It is certainly a very complex region with various complexities that are beyond the comprehension of a simpleton
Certainly more complex then the dynamics the thread starter intended it to be
With out doubt great loss of life and property
ISIS is/was - remains ? an issue unsure as I stopped following news but certainly a dark mark in history
Still have not quite determined the motive of such a war , and the tiny alliances what so ever

Crusaders were Catholics. Russians are Orthodox. Orthodox fought against the Catholics during the Crusades. Crusaders fought against Shia, Sunni, Maronites, Copts and Jews simultaneously.
This is a regional civil war not a 11th century invasion of Jerusalem.
