all rebel fighter Syrians must be eliminated with extreme prejudice, despite the many foreign fighters, there are a lot of technically syrian citizens who are fighting alongside isis and fsal qaeda.

not only must any rebel victory be denied, it needs to be outright crushed, brutally when necessary.

Poll options are not fair.

Russia just made anti-Assad countries look like complete suckers. Putin will use the threat of ISIS as pretext to destroy all anti-Assad forces (especially the ones backed bu US and Turkey ). With Iran and Iraq onboard, expect great reversals in neartime.

BTW I have seen many Turks itching for fight with Russia in many threads. Putin grated them their wish. Will be interesting to see if "Sultan" really is "Sultan" or just full of hot gas.

in fact, since the start of the war, the syrian government has been pardoning captured "moderate" rebels ( those truly syrian ) and allowing them to return to normal life.

Russia is not helping ISIS.

Putin says and he is right, he is supporting legitimate govt of Syria. Keep sentiment about Assad aside. There is no UN security council resolution to fight Assad regime. Its the countries led by western countries fueling and funding terror.

Russia is intervening on request of Assad. This is in compliance with international law. Assad is legitimate leader according to UN as his govt holds the UNGA seat there.

What US, Britain and France are doing in Syria is illegal. They are fund terror there. No matter how much we hate Assad, supporting terror is not acceptable.
