RTI Election Survey of Lahore

Their are now numerous people who want to contest elections from Lahore specially from PTI i.e Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Javed Hashmi and recently Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan too as well.

The survey findings are eye opening for every party's election prospects specially for PTI & PMLN, it gives ample room for both to progress.

For PMLNs point of view, Its not too bad as overall they still leading in public approval ratings for next elections (46% for PMLN, 34% for PTI),

PTI only leading in the age group of 18-25 years where she scores 40% compares to PMLN's 38%, still encouraging for PMLN as some might suggests a land slide in favour of PTI in that group alone.

However PTI gains could not be ignored as it increased from Zero and therefore quite encouraging, other parties like PPP and PMLQ will be wiped out completely as per the survey findings.....PMLN need to speed up their constructive work and man to man contacts right intact to win the battle in the end fortunately time is on their side too as well.

Another important reality of the survey is the respondents belongs to

Urban Areas: 81%
Rural Areas: 19%

I mean, The results quite in favor of PMLNs when one thinks that it was widely acknowledged earlier that urban areas would be Pro PTI for sure.

That's really low, you can't call this credible, one needs at least 10000 respondent's in a city the size of Lahore

After 30th October, very next morning, all (22-23) of my colleagues were arguing and favoring PTI, I kept convincing them for PML N. I told them sooner you will see that there is no Difference between PTI n PPP, IK will take many U-Turns regarding currupt and loota Politicians, regarding MQM and many more (before 30th October IK says : there is no place in my party for Currupt and Loota Politician... MQM is a terrorist party, Altaf is a killer etc), time prove me right whatever i told them... right now only 2 of my colleagues are still PTI fans. All of them came back to PMLN.

PTI leads among Pakistan political parties: IRI poll
Islamabad: Pakistan Tahreek-i-Insaf (PTI) is leading among all political parties in its growing popularity at national and provincial levels, claimed its chairman Imran Khan on Twitter citing the polls results of International Republican Institute (IRI).

The latest polls and survey carried out from February 9 to March 8 this year by global research group.

IRI results on the popularity of Pakistan political parties at national level showed that

Pakistan Tahree-i-Insaf (PTI) was leading with 31% votes, Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) (PMLN) is the second leading party with 27% votes and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) popularity remains intact at 16%

In Punjab:

PTI popularity stood at 33%, PMLN retained its popularity at 41%, PPP popularity stood at 9%.

In Sindh:

PPP is leading with 42% in polls, PTI secured second position with 15 %, MQM position at polls reflects its popularity retained at 9%, PMLN stood at 6%

In Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa

PTI remains its top position with 49% its popularity graph as per IRI polls results, ANP maintained its second position with 13% of polls votes, PPP popularity reflected its position at 9%, PMLN stood at 8% in its popularity graph

In Baluchistan

PTI stood at top position with 35%, PMLN grabbed 9 % of the polling reslults, JUI popularity graph stood at 9% in IRI polls, BNP stood at 6 % in the polls.

The survey might be showing a picture of rise and fall of political parties’ popularity in the country but the polls results carried out by global or local institutes are far different from the results of general elections as shown in the past.

The rising popularity of the PTI might be impressive for party itself as leading popular party of the country but the results of the conducted polls can also reflect the active role of PTI digital media activists for manipulating the results in the favor of party.

IRI survey was not released for common public so far by IRI. However, IRI is making available the methodology and the demographics to demonstrate that the poll complies with professional standards in the industry.

Poll work was conducted by the Institute for Public Opinion Research based in Islamabad, Pakistan. Oversight and analysis was provided by Robert Varsalone of Maven Public Affairs.

The population under study is representative of the adult population of Pakistan with sample size was 5,985 of people Age 18 and order

Kish method was used to select respondents 18 years and older within the randomly selected household. The left hand method was used to select every third household in localities selected through area probability sample.

The sample was distributed at the provincial level, rural and urban, in all four provinces of Pakistan (except for the Federally Administered Tribal Areas and Chitral). The sample was then post-weighted to make it proportionate to national representation by province.

Face-to-face interviews were conducted. The interview teams were comprised of both of males and females; the female respondents were interviewed by female interviewers and male respondents by male interviewers.

To be frank, I know this survey too since it was viral by none other than Imran himself through his latest tweets, i just want some PTI fans to comes up with it, so that i can make my fixation

The IRI survey conducted only in the age group of 18 or above (Highlighted)...Its the same group in which PTI has major supports everyone believes and RTI survey of Lahore, give advantage to PTI too in that particular age group. (Another proof that both surveys are depicting similarities)

But the more damaging fact in your and Imran's forwarded survey for PTI is that, In Punjab IRI Polls which conducted under the age group of 18 or Plus, still gives PMLN majority of 41% to PTIs only 33% and that too in PTI's most beloved age gruop

just imagine if it conducted on all age groups, where would be the PMLNs majority go stands

In RTI PMLN wins only in Lahore, In IRI PMLN wins throughout Punjab as well

Same here. Especially one of my colleague from Wah cantt. I thought it will be difficult for me to convince him but then Imran Khan allowed the REHMAN malik of Taxilla to join PTI (i am talking about Ghulam Sarwar Khan) and he will be up against Ch Nisar Ali Khan who has won 7 consecutive times from there.
