PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Housing, Malik Amjad Khan Afridi said here on Sunday that the government has allocated Rs 8 million for water provision scheme at Gandilai Bala to provide basic amenities to people at their doorsteps.
Addressing a public gathering after inaugurating a Sui Gas scheme at Gandiala Bala, he said that his political ambition is to serve people and no stone would be left unturned to provide maximum relief to masses irrespective of their political affiliations.
He said that the area has been overlooked in past, but the present government has launched development work in large scale and would win next general election on basis of record development work.
The Minister also announced upgradation of middle school and Rs 1 million for construction of football ground in the area and said that during his visit to Kohat, Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti would announce construction of Girls Degree College at Bilitang.
