Role of SUPARCO in national security

I want to know is there so far any role of SUPARCO in national security.

Actually i want Pakistan to launch a surveillance satellite to monitor terrorist's activities in the country. It'll be good step to have a special satellite for this purpose.

There's some work going on like tagging etc. but i don't think those satellites are built to meet our requirements, by our engineers. Neither they give flexibility and freedom of that kind.
