RIP Windows 10? Windows 11 could be unveiled by Microsoft in a few weeks

I have been using Windows 11 for months and unfortunately, it's still unstable and has many bugs. Aside from bugs Windows 11 is way better than Windows 10, it's not even a contest.

Best to replace computers every 3 years or 5 years max.
They are not smartphones. They can be used longer.
My laptop still gets every job done. Even the advanced programming , coding tasks and running those simulators etc.
Well gaming is something I am not into. And gaming laptops get outdated quickly even after 2 years. So what you suggested apply to gamers not other users.

My advise is to wait until Microsoft provides a major feature update for Windows 11.

My Laptop is compatible and update is offered but I will wait.
Wait a few months, there are still many bugs in Windows 11.

The first and foremost thing is reliability. If it's with bugs and unstable then how good it is then.

The software manufacturers keep adding functionality that require more and more computing power , also the reliability gets worse over time. Of course if you use your computer for a few hours a day then yes it will work well for 7 years. I need a powerful PC so that I run multiple OS in Hyper V and stay up to date with the latest OS and major applications.

Windows and its software don, t change as often as android.
And secondly, it depends on the laptop if it was some high-end laptop seven years ago as in my case, it's going to stay with you.

Still running Windows 7 at home.

LoL at 10 users aka windows bloatware users talking shit. Have fun with those forced updates losers.

Windows 7 was literally perfect

Windows 10 is just a memory hogging, Microsoft data mining piece of shit.

Microsoft had to literally end support for 7 and bribe game developers to stop support to try and kill it off. But it still runs a lot of windows 10 software flawlessly because it’s compatibility is top tier.

Windows 10 is not going anywhere till 2025.
Windows 11 can't be run properly on most devices in Pakistan as it requires some advanced hardware.
Most devices in Pakistan are running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 and cannot upgrade further.

It depends on the GPU that the gaming laptop or even a desktop is using. For example 5 years old GTX 1080 is still a solid GPU today.
