RFI of IN for a naval Light Utility Helicopter (MTOW up to 4.5t) to replace its existing fleet of
existing Chetak:

RFI of ICG for 14 SHORE BASED HELICOPTER with a MTOW up to 12t:

RFI of ICG for 16 SHIP BORNE LIGHT HELICOPTER with a MTOW up to 6.5t:

The last one was surprising to me, because the Dhruv fits to the requirements and the ICG already has a dedicated version of it for exactly these roles as you can see:
http://www.hal-india.com/helicopter/coast guard.pdf
So why this competition instead of simply getting more Indian Dhruvs?
Regarding the other competitions, with the limitation to 12t MTOW, the biggest possible shore based helicopter for ICG should be, the Sikorsky Sea Hawk like it was proposed during the Defexpo 2010 to IN:
And Sikorsky already offered a leasing of these helicopters to the CG, which could be a good idea till HAL develops a medium class helicopter.
The replacemant of Chetak in IN instead could be several helicopters from those who are in the LUH competition of IAF, over HALs new LOH/LUH, up to Eurocopters Dauphin:

The Dhruv instead lies 1t above the required MTOW and should be ruled out.
