tara and moti has its origin in Sanskrit, if you do not know it, try to know.
btw TARA was also name of the mother of Lord Buddha.
We call a star tara and a pearl moti they have no holy meaning to us

It has nothing to do with anything holy or not. I was speaking about the origin of the words.

It is time that the name LOLLYWOOD changed, Lollywood is obsolete, sounds unusal and of poor standard to the growing Pakistani Film Industry. We need to rename our film and drama industry to something more modern, artistic and Pakistani..

Well was this name created just to get into competition with India? They produce like 3 movies a day so there is no competition. But for starters, you can name it Woody Wood (like the Woody Wood Pecker)? Just joking.

How about K-Wood (Karachi Wood as its your largest city)? PMI (Pakistan movie industry) or Cinema and Movie industry (CAMI), etc? You don't have to stick to the last name "Wood" if you know what I mean. Come up with something from Urdu. That could be an exotic name...

The film industry in Lahore started in 1929 with the opening of the United Players' Studios on Ravi Road. The cornerstone for the studio was set by Abdur Rashid Kardar, famous as A R Kardar. Since then the studio has managed indigenous productions competing with other film production centres in the undivided India, namely Mumbai and Kolkata.

According to the aforementioned Wikipedia article:

"The word "Lollywood" was first coined in the summer of 1989 in the now-defunct magazine Glamour published from Karachi by gossip columnist Saleem Nasir, in line with the American film industry's nickname Hollywood."

Indian film industry was calling itself Bollywood long before the word Lollywood was even coined. And Bollywood connotates more of a style rather than an actual place.

Nevertheless, you are right in that both Indian and Pakistsn film industries have their roots in Lahore.

I like the word PMI (Pakistan Movie Industry) like PMI stars or PMI movie actor and actresses.

It is abdolute true that both Indian Bollywood and Pakistan media industry had its first ever roots coined from Lahore City.

How do you take having origin in Sanskrit to being equivalent to being a 'Hindu' (whatever that term means) name? Sanskrit itself has origins outside of Gangetic and Dravdic India.

And claims of being 'Hindu' or being copied from Bollywood are rich coming from you, since almost all mainstream Bollywood actors are from the Pakistan Region:

Behind the camera, there are Karan Johar, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Yash Chopra of Lahore. The Kapoor clan of Lyallpur, Dev Anand of Lahore, Rajendra Kumar of Sialkot, Jeetendra, Prem Chopra, Anil Kapoor, Dharmendra, Sunil Dutt of Jhelum, Rajesh Khanna, Vinod Khanna, Suresh Oberoi of Quetta. Composer Roshan (father of Rakesh and grandfather of Hrithik) was from Gujranwala. Shahrukh, a Hindkowan Awan from Peshawar. The Khans all being Urdu speaking, like Bollywood itself, Muslims Pashtuns.

It's Name is not that ugly but thing is there is need of qualitative work that have positive impact on pak ppl

Pakistani film industry should move from Lahore to Karachi which is cultural capital of Pakistan.

My suggestion is Karawood.
