Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication Shahbaz Gill has said that syllabus of educational institutions must nurture students’ mindset in line with the Islamic code of life and ethics.

Speaking at the convocation of Minhaj University on Sunday, Gill said that misconceptions about Islam needed to be rectified.

He said that Rehmatul-lil-Alameen Authority had been established and the government was involving Islamic scholars from the world to oversee the syllabus being taught to students in educational institutions.

About the tragic lynching of a Sri Lankan citizen in Sialkot, he said that every Pakistani felt ashamed over the incident and wanted no repeat of such incident in future in the country.

What a stupid move.

1. Pakistan is full of third class religious scholars
2. WTF do religious scholars know about education?

Why is this man doing everything possible to FU everything good he starts. I had very high hopes for a SNC, the idea is great, the implementation seemed to be good with focus on deeper understanding and measuring progress against international standards.

but now he has to involve f***ing mullahs in this. His party need to grow a backbone and stand up to the idiot.

This is one policy of IK I disagree with. Getting mullah's to dictate life for ordinary Pakistani's. Like Zia wasn't enough.

This is misquoting by the dawn deliberately. He meant it in religious schools i.e. madrassas

First govt should ask these scholars to open their madrassas for modern education and bring them under govt control.

Is it overall syllabus or the religious syllabus?
