Rubbish. The Broadsheet case is simple. They were contracted to go after illigitimate money held by various targets. So they would have traced the money and THEN approached the local courts to RECOVER the money. If say NAB had placed my name and Broadsheet had come calling in UK to grab my account to get their 20% you know what I would have said to Broadsheet? "Fcuk off". They would never get my money unless they went to UK court and proved the money was dirty.

But what if before Broadsheet take action to recover the money from my account, NAB cancel their contract? I am now saved. But now Broadsheet can't get my money and lose their 20%. It was this loss that Broadsheet went to court and won the case. They won on the basis that Sharif''s money was DIRTY, they would have managed to RECOVER that DIRTY money and GOT their 20% commission.

A question I would like to ask you. Nawaz Sharif's government was ruling until 2018. They knew this case was going on. Why did they not present in the court that the "targets" were CLEAN and Sharif was CLEAN. By proving this they would have established Broadsheet would never have won a penny as RECOVERY. And 20% of a penny is nothing. Broadsheet case would have been thrown out.

The reason NS did not do this is because such a challange would have then garnered investigation in UK led by a British Court and you know what would have happened.

For the last time I will tell you. That 20% award is PREMISED on NS having DIRTY MONEY. Broadsheet did not have a contract that said any target name [including me or you] means 20% is theirs? You think UK courts would even up hold such a contract?

Sir Antony Stevens used outside fininacial experts to carry out a forensic of the various financial details mentioned and on balance of probability concluded Nawaz Sharif held dirty money to the tune of $100 million. Then he gave 20% of that as award.

Please read this extract from the judgement. Section [x11] says quite clearly "Havin g regard to all the evidence I FIND that the appropriate valuation of the potential recovery from Sharif family is $100 million to be realised at some future date".

Broadsheet Commission of Inquiry TORs ready, approval from Federal Cabinet will be sought

According to media reports, the TORs of the Broadsheet Commission of Inquiry have been prepared by the federal government. Cases that were closed in the past on expediency or political compromises will also be re-investigated.

The TORs of the Broadsheet Commission of Inquiry will be sought from the Federal Cabinet through a Circulation Summary, which has been sent to the Federal Cabinet. However, the Federal Cabinet has earlier approved the formation of a Commission of Inquiry into the Broadsheet issue.
