The federal cabinet on Thursday approved a summary to ban the Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), whose supporters staged three days of violent protests across the country this week after the arrest of their leader.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said a notification for TLP's proscription would be issued shortly.

The government will also take measures for TLP's dissolution, Rashid announced, saying a separate summary will be moved in the cabinet in this regard tomorrow. He said after the summary's approval in the next two to three days, a reference will be filed in the Supreme Court for the party's dissolution.

Last time b yahe dharna tha... State khamosh the but jab state ne action lia tab yahe molvi or sharpasand anasar newspapers me TLP se izhaar e lataluqi Kay notifications chapwa rahy thy. All these organisations (TLP, PTM etc) need such action against them. Or Jo in actions ki mukhalifat krta Hy sorry to say but wo jahil Hy.

Bahi we should stop em before they even become a threat towards the state..

And we should not allowed such movements to be hijacked by agents of chaos.. be it Gulalai in case of PTM, Surkhas in case of RUDA protests or TTP/ hard core extremists in case of TLP

I can understand you not knowing him and most of liberals hating him but he is one of emerging politicians..

He was the one who trashed US infront all US staff in a ceremony held by US embassy.. and in 2016 he was the one who held rally Pakistan Day in Quetta when no one had balls to.. he held it with Baloch and Pashtoons under the flag of Pakistan.. and did a Jalsa in dera Bughti in 2014.. and recently he held Dr. AFIA Siddiqui day infront of Aurat March
