Why is it logically wrong to say rebirth happens ?

All the stories that one hears about Reincarnation and Rebirth are just stories that attach values and morals . Keeping that aside , Isn't Rebirth = I the body which is made of matter returns to another form after Death ?

Science says Matter can neither be created and Destroyed . Can we apply this principle here ? Or is it wrong ?

Science simply asks where is the direct perceivable proof? So far Science has not found what the "soul" exactly is...what is the physical perceivable presence of it (if any exists)...so it cannot speculate on the origin and destination of what it has so far been unable to identify, locate and measure in the first place.

Not to say this will never happen in future. Maybe the soul is connected to dark matter or some other form of matter/energy entirely. I for one have always wondered if the gods are simply in the dark matter (or some other) realm, not perceivable to our human eyes but still there nonetheless (and require a filter that is referred to as darshan in the texts to view). The Brahman (universal cosmic soul) that is theorized in the deepest core Hindu philosophy may simply be some form of dark matter or what is beyond even that.

Simply put, it is too early for Science to comment on authenticity of the soul, god etc...we are at our infacy still in this exploration without prejudging (which is what Science is). In fact we may never be able to comment on it from scientific standpoint since even the physical existence of the human species is ultimately finite. And any finite number, no matter how big it is...is effectively 0 compared to the infinite. Visualise even the biggest number you can think of in some way, and make it even bigger (with say exponents of itself etc) and do that many times over....even at the end, that number is effectively 0 compared to infinity.

So to answer your question, it is logically wrong (from Science standpoint) to establish reincarnation and rebirth as truth ....because we are talking about something that cannot be perceived in the first place (at the moment).

What cannot be perceived is the realm of larger broader philosophies. One can say that evidence based philosophy is Science...its a small subset of the larger set.

At some point it will be enlightening for you to deeply read Socrates, Plato and finally Aristotle (whatever survives of his works)...to see the differences in their approaches and why I find Aristotle to be the most superior of all of them.

It is a matter of one's belief

Every one is entitled to their beliefs

Hindus believe in Rebirth which depends on your Karma

If you do bad deeds in this life you will suffer in the next

Similarly many a times people are unable to explain their current suffering
even when you have done nothing wrong in your life

That is the result of your past life

Some inferences from your argument

1. After the death, It is the physical body which dies and there is a soul which survives and does not die..

2. Soul can travel.

3. Some authority is there to judge these souls and to send these souls either to hell or to heaven.

My innocent Question to you

Does the same Authority not has power to send any soul back to earth if He so chooses ?

If you really believe in what you have said then why not believe that He is omnipotent and He can do anything !!! :azn:

everyone has different views according to my resarch
We are sent by God (creator of matrix) in the ( matrix) world to do training learning of good manners for justb50 60 years acquiring good karma to live permanently in heaven like a gentleman .There is nothing in this world to be proud people love to eat but they have diabetes . Tensions in this life loans ,ur child got diseases, most of our day spent working . Headache how can I have fun when I have pounds of load on me . Because matrix world is designed for good karma not enjoying. After death person who spent his life doing good karma gets to karmic heaven where u dint have to work all wish fulfilled imagine all wish fulfilled in karmic heaven u don't get tired no need to use washroom.if u spend ur life in good karma life also become satisfactory. After death ur dimensions changes u see heaven and hell angels unseen world spiritual real world .we go in next phase of life .the biggest pain in karmic hell will be when residents of hell see the life and technology atmosphere of karmic heaven. There will not be any going back .if u are selected for karmic hell because u would want to go back to matrix because of unimaginable pain in hell so u can acquire good karma and achieve karmic heaven

Is there a Heaven and a Hell in Hinduism?

In some interpretations yes....but generally seen as temporary states rather than eternal.

Others, no (moksha is beyond heaven and hell...it is joining of the soul with its source....maybe that can be interpreted as heaven and continued rebirth as hell, but no description is given of what it exactly is other than the final destination for all souls given time).

I believe in technicality of rebirth bcos,

1)Technically speaking hell & heaven would have limited space, no recycling means it will be overflowing.(dont tell me universe is expanding)
2)It is easier to keep accounting (stats) for limited number of mortals.
3) Save & restore is faster than creating new souls.

This implies you know the size of hell and heaven and what the physical volume is per soul?
