Raytheon Company and The Boeing Company completed a series of captive flight tests for the Joint Air-to-Ground Missile competition. The tests prove the system is ready for guided test shots.

"The Raytheon-Boeing JAGM is a mature, capable system. We have proved the technical readiness of this superior warfighting solution," said Bob Francois, vice president of Raytheon Missile Systems' Advanced Missiles and Unmanned Systems product line.

"JAGM meets the warfighter's needs and is affordable across the acquisition spectrum including development, operations and support costs."

What a great similarities it has with Roketsan Umtas, isn't it ? :)

Roketsan UMTAS

JAGM specs:
Weight: 108lb (49kg)
Range: >16km
Diameter: 7inch (178mm)
Length: 70inch (1780mm)

UMTAS specs:
Weight: 37.5kg
Range: >8km
Diameter: 160mm
Length: 1750mm

Cabatli,
you mentioned Roketsan is working on a A - G Missile which should replace Mavericks. I think the indigenous A - G could be a more advanced Variant of UMTAS, which can be launched from Fighter Jets and have a MMW or tri-mode Seeker. This would allow multiple Target Engagements in CAS Missions.

I thinkour future indigenous A - G Missile could be also usefull for PAF JF-17 to perform CAS Roles.

For Example, a british Tornado is performing multiple Target engagements with MMW guidet Brimstone.
