RAW behind recent terrorist acts, says Lahore commissioner

LAHORE: India’s intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), is behind the recent terrorist activities in Punjab, Lahore Commissioner Khusro Pervez said, adding various American and Western organisations were trying to create “an Islamic brigade” in Pakistan, a private TV reported on Thursday.

At a meeting of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he said about 21 organisations had been identified whose members were receiving training in neighbouring countries. He said the recent incidents in Gojra, Sheikhupura and the attack on the Rescue 15 building in Lahore had been carried out by the Indian spy agency and other foreign agencies. He said it seemed RAW was trying to avenge its failure in Indian-held Kashmir.

Pakistan already had it's time when the taliban was in control of afghanistan...and what development did the afghans see?
the country was pushed to the dark ages...we are building roads and hospitals...we are earning the goodwill of the people.Nobody can stop you from doing that.

You as an Indian could count on the people you rescue form fever, flue and urinary disease and the number of people who are killed, number of houses destroyed, the excessively cultivated poppy and the regional instability are of-course not a count in this comparison. Right! I think you would not complain if Pakistan does this kind of development in India.. would you?

your grievances are well understood...but we have firmly refused sending troops to afghanistan...there is no indian military presence in afghanistan.
we are doing the much needed rebuilding work...even Paksitan should contribute in that...and not in sponsoring one militia group against the other to gain control of the afghanistani sphere.

How long would Pakistan want to wait and tolerate hostility against our men and land? Even staying peaceful, we can engage INTERPOL, International Court of Justice other diplomatic means at first. Afghanistan is not a threat to Indian security but yes Indian financial and regional interests could be at stake if Taliban or Pakistan friendly factor stays in power. But when India supports the "neutral" militia there, they pose direct threats to Pakistan and its security. So please not expect that Pakistan would want to join-hands with you in the "development" until unless our security concerns are met. We are not against development anywhere in the world but let not developments means developments against Pakistan.

The problem is no muslim country wants to put up there troops. Turkey is the only muslim-majority country that has troops in Afghanistan. KSA, UAE e.t.c. prefer sitting on the fence while some of their citizens fund the taliban

well...let's not focus just on the present Karzai govt.
I mean...wouldn't you want Afghanistan to be democratic?forget about Indian or Pakistani influence and meddling....this is a democracy in it's infancy in a very dangerous place...once the democratic machinery gets out of it's gestation period...we'd have a more peaceful afghanistan...i.e strictly in non geo-strategic terms..
