Rao Anwar, the Ex-SSP wanted in Naqeebullah Mehsud murder case have just appeared before Supreme Court of Pakistan.

This could be one major development on political front as PPP via Zardari have more or less endorsed the connection with this guy. If he starts to talk, it will be massive implications.

Plus those who hijacked the justice for naqeeb movement to turn it into an anti-state anti-army movement will also be dealt with once the Pandora box opens up!

As per news reports, the Ex-SSP Rao Anwar have just appeared before Supreme Court of Pakistan a few minutes ago. The man is accused of being right hand of Asif Ali Zardari, having played an important role in land grabbing mafia for years. He was wanted in much publicized murder case of NaqeebUllah Mehsud that have lead to protests in all of Pakistan led by Pakhtoon community. Later the protests were hijacked by some anti-state elements and have been used to malign Pakistan state and especially army.

The surrender and his appearance before the highest court of Pakistan will be a major development and will have far reaching implications.

Rao Anwar appears in Supreme Court
ISLAMABAD: Suspended Malir SSP Rao Anwar, wanted in the Naqeebullah Mehsud killing case, has appeared in the Supreme Court.

Anwar, suspended from his post of Malir SSP, has been absconding in the murder case of Mehsud, a 27-year-old native of Waziristan, who, among three others, was killed in a fake police encounter in Karachi on January 13 on Anwar's orders.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saqib Nisar resumed hearing the suo motu case earlier today but the proceedings were adjourned for a brief period after which Anwar appeared in court in a white-coloured Toyota Corolla with a police escort.

He was wearing a surgical mask when he disembarked from the car.

The hearing is under way.

At the last hearing of the case on March 19, the chief justice, after a detailed briefing by authorities, had warned that anyone found facilitating Anwar's evasion from law enforcement agencies would be dealt with strictly.
