Ranking promotions on posting

Could i plz get info on how much postings to we get promoted on PDF plz...srry for creating thread but i didnt find one previously created. Are all the posting promotions same for airforce navy and army?

I've answered this before:

New Recruit 0-100 messages
2nd Lieutenant 101-500
Lieutenant 501-1000
Captain 1001-2000
Major 2001-3000
Lt. Colonel 3001-4000
Colonel 4001-5000
Brigadier 5001-6000
Major General 6001-7000
Lt. General 7001-8000
General 8001-35000
Field Marshall 35000

Substitute the equivalent for each branch if you selected non-Army ranks. The promotion ranks are not the same for each branch, as each branch of an Armed Service generally has ranks specific to them - like Commodore - but are earned with the same number of posts.

Other titles like senior or elite member are also a function of post count and should not be used as a metric of a member's quality, just their frequency. Trolls can reach number of posts required for each quickly. Mods, TTA, TTC, R&D or Professional are decided upon by management based on our evaluations of a member's contributions, knowledge base, experience and quality (among other criteria - other titles exist too).

Hi Mods - A suggestion. Positive news stories are ok for new threads but there's really an endless cycle of posting of random negative news stories that end up as pissing matches and just fuel senseless anger. Can such threads be quickly deleted - bigger events can, ofc , stay.
