Anyway why build some new design when you already have the Pakistan version of the M113 to play with.

all locally manufactured APC/APVs are designed from the M113 basic structure!

So that brings me back to the PZKw I or II, HMGs and ATGWs attached. Also lower and less box shaped. Both used in the recon roles. OK the PzKw II had a 20mm auto cannon minor issue.

But the concepts in these 2 old tanks is what is needed not a huge matchbox on tiny tracks.

The M113 bed is to too large, detectable and less agile for the role envisaged for RAAD. Army has also asked HIT to develop a wheeled version of it.
