QUETTA - The attack on Police Training College (PTC) Quetta on October 24 was an Indian conspiracy to sabotage China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, said Inspector General Frontier Corps (IG FC) Balochistan Maj-Gen Sher Afgan on Saturday.

Though the Indian intelligence agency (RAW) had declared a war to spoil law and order situation in Balochistan, the gallant masses of Balochistan sternly discarded the Indian interference in the province.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of a government high school at Harnai organized by Frontier Corps Balochistan, IG FC said around 700 Frontier Corps Jawans had embraced martyrdom and 2,000 sustained injuries to maintain law and order in the province.

“We welcome everyone taking part in the development and prosperity of Pakistan,” Sher Afgan said.

He was of the view that India meddling in Balochistan affairs and had declared a war to spoil peace in the province, adding the law-enforcing agencies and brave people of Balochistan were using every avenue to unearth these cowardice interferences of the enemy.

“No trick of the enemy will succeed as a disgraceful failure will be its fate,” he averred, adding there would be a zero tolerance for miscreants as the policy of the incumbent government and security forces was very clear against enemies of peace. The unrivalled sacrifices of FC Jawans and the masses have ensured peaceful environment in Balochistan, he affirmed.

Maj-Gen Sher Afgan asserted CPEC would usher in new era of prosperity and progress in the entire country, including Balochistan, and ameliorate the fate of the masses. He reiterated no attempt of the enemy could damage the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

He went on to say that the secret of success was hidden in skilled human development and this was possible with quality education. He pledged the FC would play its role in ensuring quality education to every nook of the province besides defending borders.

- marginalization of other provinces apart from Punjab
- endemic corruption
- weak civilian leadership due to meddling by Army
- weak public institutions due to entrenched feudal culture
- lack of female participation in work force
- lack of respect for linguistic, ethnic, religious and other minorities
- loss of valuable youth to the culture of jihad

Just as the indians could not sabotage or prevent Pakistan becoming a nuclear weapons state neither can they prevent the success and growth of CPEC. There maybe problems and obstacles ahead but that is the price of success. We need to stay the course, be resilient and steadfast.

It seems that India has very deep penetration In pakistan. Pakistan had prior information of this attack but india stopped them to take action. I was listening to the discussion on Pak TV in which paticipent were discussing the communication with terrorist and their handlers. They were crossing certain check posts and managed to cross it. (Courtesy india). Then they reached premises where they stopped and allowed to enter building on instruction from inside (Courtesy India). Last they wrote in facebook that they have managed to enter building. "Aap so jaiye bhai subah akhbar main padh lena" . So India had their man inside academy who can order security to let the guys come in.

I think India has a great penetration all across pakistan including their military, police and all security and intelligence across pakistan. What say?
