Hi all, I'm a person of Indian origin (PIO) and get my fair dosage of Indian culture/news from my parents and I have a couple of questions, feel free to move this thread to the appropriate section, about the subcontinent which I've always been intrigued about.
1) Is India progressing? Is it progressing socially? ie. is the caste system being eradicated, people learning manners, cleanliness and just in general development of the country.
2) The likelihood of a Pak-Ind war in the next 20 years? And will it merely be a sort of restricted to one sector war like Kargil?
3) Why do Bangladeshis dislike India/Indians and are supportive of Pakistan? If I recall correctly, was it not the Indians who liberated Bangladeshis from a country that was enforcing Urdu upon them and a set of people who felt they were inferior and committed a genocide resulting in ~ 1M deaths?
