1. Differences among strategies: What is the military strategy used by the Taliban to hold on to the Tribal areas, what has prevent them from expanding, and what is the Pakistani and Afghan government’s strategy towards the Taliban?

2. What is the degree in which Alqaeda controls the Taliban (If any)?
How does this worldwide terrorist network work holistically?

Which Taliban first you need to identify that, then i would ask whose strategy, both countries has different strategies, different povs.

2. What is the degree in which Alqaeda controls the Taliban (If any)?

Al-Qaida is a FAKE name used by USA to fool the world. Also i will ask again which Taliban?

Hi.
The Taliban you are talking about are the TTP. They fooled simple people by showing that they are the real Taliban and by using force against local thieves alike. This made then heroes overnight. But, later the locals(tribals) realized that their methods are not similar to Taliban in Afghanistan i.e. use of drugs to get weapons and funds etc.
