British left this decision earlier solely on Congress and Muslim League first to resolve this issue and when there were no consensus were made between two parties on governing of Muslim populous region Vs Other region then Britishers approved their decision as anyways they were leaving British India as Colony of teirs.

Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel was a staunch supporter of partition and wanted to get rid of the belligerent forces .
Pandit Nehru was also supporting him in this.

But Nowhere will you find this in the history books in both the countries because of the obvious regions.

His other predictions about the nature of Pakistani establishment has been almost true...

Here I disagree on this part.. Sardar Patel was staunch "against" of Muslim league's decision to give some special reservation for "Muslim populous" state which is sort of autonomy for those states and special status for Muslim league to rule these states hence "states with in a state" situation arises. Hence he accepted this way better than negotiation on such conditions.

At one point Jinnah was ambassador of Hindu-Muslim unity. What made him change his mind? If the cause was that the Muslims were being oppressed by Hindus then why even support muslim-hindu unity?
