I have met many Top Specialist Pakistani doctors in the US from King Edwards medical, some of them are well known in their field, but non from AKUH so far

80-85 % of Pakistani doctors in US are from AKUH. I have a few friends there and almost all their batch are practising in america now. Inside Pakistan in terms of repute and prestige AKUH is much ahead and is much harder to get into.

AKU is very expensive as this is in the private sector, though there are some scholarships available, can cost you 1 crore for a MBBS program or close, compared to this DOW and Sindh medical in public sector, government funded is affordable, so are others in public sector in other cities of Pakistan.

My Fiance is an AKUH graduate . According to her per year tution fee is 20 lakh. But almost all their batch is in US now employed in their best hospitals.
