imho Rivaldo and Ronaldo are too old to be called in to play at world cup level. You're right on Ronaldinho though, but i'd also like to add that indeed Kaka was not a star back then, but imho would be a good addition to 2014 team.

If Dunga didn't get fired for the loss of the World Cup 2010, they would not turn out into a mediocre team like this.

Right now, Brazil doesn't have the super talents like Ronaldo/Ronaldinho/Rivaldo, so it is better to play Dunga's way.

They were pretending that Neymar was the new Ronaldo, but put all the bet on him, and the whole team just collapsed when he got injured. In reality, Neymar is a talented player, but still nowhere near the level of 3R.

If Dunga has successfully rebuilt his team in the World Cup 2018, then Brazil will again be a major nightmare for other teams, as long as they won't repeat the same mistakes as they did in 2010. And the 2018 WC is hosted in Europe, so I am not quite sured if they will allow Brazil to win the title on the European soil.

So the 2022 WC should be a more safe bet, but they have to keep Dunga for 8 more years.

I have the same concern about Qatar as host for the 2022 World Cup because of the weather conditions in that country. So they will have another bid again for the 2022 tournement. What is going to happen to Qatar ? I mean those people have already spend countless millions if not billions in preparation for the World Cup. If they have to host the World Cup in Asia Australia would be a good place. They have the infrastructure there and the Socceroos may not be a top flight team but they have made it to the World Cup three times.

Not China! The World Cup should not be held in China! The national team there is a joke. Just think about the humiliation, oh the humiliation. One should consider the humiliation before saying that China should host the 2022 world Cup. The humiliation would be unbearable. The humiliation of being the first host nation to be knocked out of the tournement in the first round. China already has experience in that with the Olympics in 2008 when China got knocked out of the tournement as the host nation by New Zealand! And they recently lost to North Korea in the Asian Games.

FIFA doesn't care if China's national team is good or bad, since they only see that hosting the World Cup in China will bring them more revenue compared to the host of other countries.

China simply shouldn't host the World Cup if the national team is not ready. And right now they are far from being ready. In my view the issue is not that the FIFA should or shouldn't give China the World Cup but rather China shouldn't seek to host the World Cup with the national team in its current state. And don't tell me that the national team will improve by 2022. When it comes to Chinese football I will only believe it when i see it.
