Punjabi Taliban shift focus to Afghanistan

These are the types of border movements that need to be checked on: both the Afghan and the Pakistani side. Understandably so, due to the rough and vast border terrain shared by Pakistan and Afghanistan, it is difficult to completely put an end to the movement of people across the border. Still, there is much that the ANSF, ANA, Pakistani military and U.S. forces can execute, if we work together to put an end to this distorted claims of fighting an invader in Afghanistan. The TTP whether it's the Punjab faction or any other in Pakistan, are losing ground to the Pakistani military. It seems they want to hide their defeat under the disguise of wanting to move to Afghanistan, where their claims resonate even less with the people of Afghanistan.

These terrorists need to be stopped through better border coordination and increased cooperation between Afghanistan Pakistan and the United States. There are people who believe that if they are conducting terrorist activities in Afghanistan then Pakistan will be safe from its effects. As we have said before, in order to restore peace in the region, we need to make sure Afghanistan does not become a terrorist haven once again, otherwise the spillover effect will be witnessed again.
