Banning PTI: Punjab govt presents ‘terrorism’ evidence to ECP

Caretaker CM says political party disgraced entire nation by carrying out 'planned' attacks on military installations

May 18, 2023

Funniest quote from the article

According to details, the CEC arrived at the Chief Minister House in Lahore to meet Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Thursday. A high-level briefing session was held under their chairmanship. The meeting strongly condemned the terrorist incidents of May 9 and expressed complete solidarity with the Pakistan Army.

Someone help me understand :

1.When police goes to arrest Imran, PTI folks fight them and stop them from the arrest. And complain when rangers pick him up from inside the court house?

2.Supreme Court gives Imran a "blanket" Bail freedom from any arrest. Under which law?

3.The same money which Malik Riaz gave to Nawaz Sharif and was called corruption, imran gets it and it is all good? And why in the world is no one mentioning the name of the business tycoon??

4.PTI workers are NOT involved in any violent activities, and yet Imran warns about destruction if its tried again?

5.Army Corp Commanders decide to try protesters under military law, and yet Imran points his fingers at sitting civilian government for using Army to get rid of PTI. When did Civilian government started to give orders to the Army??

I mean, the people in the government are mostly corrupt to their core. There's no doubt about that. Military doesn't want Imran back because of reasons. But PTI isn't turning out to be any different. This is going like Bhutto and 1970s

.
This caretaker government is illegal and working beyond its role, can something be done about it?
It is clear they want IK and PTI gone, why go in silence then. If they want this to be taught in the history books then why should it be onesided? Time is upon each and every Pakistani to think what kind of future they want for themselves and their future generation. Khan has done what he could. He is 72 years old, fighting for this country, what the **** are all of us doing besides ranting day in and day out on social media.

tried to arrest without warrants. that is what the resistance is about. the rangers too arrested without warrants, on top of that, they have no jurisdiction to arrest anyone anywhere in pakistan, except for sindh rangers in karachi. that power rests with the police and that too when a warrant has been presented. the arrest, thus, was illegal.

the one time police entered zaman park house was on the basis of search warrant, yet they still kidnapped people.

There is a criminal mafia in charge of Pakistan that has their dogs raised in police and army. They are fascists that are breaking every law there is right now.

The police have no grounds to arrest him in the first place.
In March a court is Islamabad had issued non bailable arrest warrant for him because he was not appearing in court. When police went to arrest him he called his supporters to zaman park to fight with them.

. .
Wrong info, they went to serve the summons with massive force. Not arrest him.
No. They had warrants. Yes, They didn't do it right, not the police or the rangers. But why not fight it in the court? Doing it on the streets just shows PTI is same goon as the rest of them.

Even today, he did not show up to a hearing and sent a written response.

Plenty of grounds.

Can't cure what you have.
Asking specific questions instead of whataboutism?

No time is up. That sort of mentality of talking only in extremes is cult culture and not rational.

Imran is not fighting for the country. He's fighting for his seat. If he was fighting for the country, he wouldn't give behind his people in multi million cars

Even, one can trust you ..is it humanly possible for the party leader to attend over 140 court hearings ... A person who is not even allowed to file the case of his own assassination bid.......are you serious, don't u see what the establishment and PDM are doing to him.

Of course its not. But THAT is not the reason being given. And also, he is not asked to be at 140 places at once. He can be at public rallies but not at courts? He is twisting things (just like everyone).

Also, Riot is not revolution.

There are accepted revolutions, revolutions which are called revolutions; there are refused revolutions, which are called riots.

One nation's freedom fighter is another nation's terrorist?
