Actually it's the people who got to be the establishment. 23 top generals cannot take the country of 23 crore people for a ride, they can't rule over 23 crore Awam.

Can the President not declare Governor's rule on the advice of the Prime Minister during times of national emergencies etc.? Being de facto default may be used as a reason if the PM doesn't want elections.

The governor’s rule means that the federal government through a decree directly assumes governance of the affairs in a province when an emergency situation beyond the control of the provincial administration arises.

governer gives the order after the CM sends the summary. As per OP, if the governor relents, it is automatically accepted after 48 hours.
But don't forget, our judiciary is all too ready to provide justice.

Highly unlikely and there is no provision of it under the constitution, as governor rule is unconstitutional and HC or SC can overrule it.

Just because provincial assembly is dissolved doesn't qualify for a governor rule, only if there is a grave law and order issue it can be implemented.

And after the denotification of CM by governor overruled by the HC, he cannot come with another unconstitutional act.

Even people who hate IK want elections. Last polls showed 71% of Pakistanis want elections while IK support was 57 percent or so. Support for the gov that you want in power 2 year was ........ 1 % (COMBINED support of SS and BBZ)

Like in Sindh the current flood effected areas with stagnant water are small towns, if the general elections are held, Zardari Mafia who was busy trying to buy the MP's with crore of rupees might actually spend a lot in the flood effected areas to buy the votes.

With election campaign, the MNA's and MPA's development budget will be spent on effected flood areas as usually happens, this will do a lot of good.

With Elections comes the development budget to buy votes.
