LORALAI: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that if voted to power his party would put an end to military operations in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa forever.
Addressing a public gathering in Loralai on Wednesday the PTI chief said that his party will focus on the resolution of the problems being faced by different provinces, and particular attention will be paid to resolve the problems of the Baloch people.
He said Pakistan will be made an Islamic welfare state where the basic rights of the masses will be safeguarded. We will introduce a new system in the country in accordance with the ideology of Pakistan and we have pledged that Pakistan would be made into an Islamic welfare state, he said, adding that the country would be given a new political system.
He said that nationalist politicians who are running their politics and parties in the name of nationality could not be useful for the country.I make a promise with the people of Balochistan that after coming to power, my party would resolve Balochistans issues in a political way, Imran Khan said.
Imran Khan said the time has come to change the system, therefore the masses must come out for this change. We will introduce a new local bodies system and pay special attention to the uplift of the education sector, he added. He said the education, water, transport and other basic needs would be supplied to the remote areas.
He appealed to the people to vote for the PTI in the general elections for a positive change in the country. It is our determination to give an honest leadership to the country, the PTI chief said.
He said that the regime of political artists has expired. The PTI chief said that May 11 will bring a new dawn in the country.Meanwhile, addressing a public gathering in Sibi, Imran Khan asked the masses to come out for this change.
Imran urged people to vote not on the basis of personality or on a sectarian or ethnic basis but for ideology. He said he has come to Balochistan to hunt Sardars and Jagirdars.Later, addressing a public gathering in Jacobabad, Imran said the PTI would not distribute funds to MNAs and MPAs. He said the PTI would introduce a local government system so that power is transferred to the grassroots level. If the PTI comes to power, it will introduce and promote simplicity, he said. The PTI chief said this is the time to change the fate of the country by supporting the PTI on May 11.
