ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Senator Faisal Javed on Saturday shared details of backdoor messaging from the opposition saying that the latter was conveying a message for talks to Prime Minister Imran Khan, ARY NEWS reported.

Speaking to ARY NEWS, Faisal Javed said that the opposition has approached the prime minister multiple times and has offered to go along with the government if their cases prior to 1999 are quashed.

When asked as to who was conveying these messages, Faisal Javed said that senior-most PPP and PML-N leadership are conveying these messages and three of the demands are even conveyed to Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in writing.

Sharing the demands from the opposition, he said that they want immunity on cases prior to 1999, no cases on corruption below Rs 1 billion, and restriction on NAB role against money laundering cases.

While daring opposition to submit resignations with the speakers of the assemblies, he said that they would be accepted in the next five minutes. “We will not keep those resignations with us like [former PML-N speaker in National Assembly] Ayaz Sadiq,” he said.

Sharing the two views within the PTI when they resigned from assemblies, he said that some partymen supported the idea to withdraw the resignations while others including Imran Khan were against it.

The crooks are getting squeezed. They are begging for NRO. FM should show the written request for NRO to the public.

@Jungibaaz - you support such people making such demands! Pity!

. .
This is the mistake people in PDF are making. This corrupt tola is not asking for NRO. They know that no one can touch them in this rotten system of Pak.

They are making hue and cry only because they cannot live WITHOUT power after enjoying the perks of power for decades. All their efforts are for power only not NRO.

. .
It is extremely corrupt system and hence nothing will come out of it. These A-holes will keep talking bullshi.t, and 5-years of the PTI government will be over, and then this corrupt Establishment and the Military will bring someone else in, who will talk from their arse for another 5-years until we all die, but this Corrupt System and its supporters will remain. This is all Topi drama for this idiot awam.

Agree something should be shown in written. Otherwise its another political statement from govt. It's matter of credibility.

. .
Do not yield to their requests.

Foreign governments must be panicking as they know the current PM is not for sale at any price. I fear he is a marked man for precisely this reason though.
And he needs the support of all the departments and the nation. Many! Many people inside and outside would like to get rid of him. May Allah keep him safe from internal and external threats and dangers
Amen

Opposition aren’t asking for NRO, it’s just immy’s bs rhetoric. They want to be get rid of his government.

Who are the people, are the cases even real, did they approach individually, that is if it even happened?

Hahaha. Still can't see the true face of PDM sir :D

Anyways what happened to the journalist pro democracy brigade that you so highly regard. Recently they have been debunked as Indian front media organizations. What's you say on that?
Are you going to blame this on the army as well, or face the reality that you have been promoting Indian mouth pieces against Pakistan and it's army.

no cases on corruption below Rs 1 billion, :cheesy::cheesy::cheesy: so one billion is nothing for them just breakfast.
It may also mean they have liberally indulged in corruption up to 999,999,999.99 Rs and not a Paisa more. They're being very reasonable sir.

PTI has a legal and legitimate mandate. More people have voted for it than other parties. Public gatherings do not mean a govt gets dissolved - no where in constitution its written that a jalsa in Minar e Pakistan means the PM should lose his/her job. Holding public gatherings by hiring agitators and party workers from accross the country in times of covid 19 is against the law and court orders - and just shows the total lack of regard for public health and interest in these dynastic elites. Say what you want but Pakistan was one of the most successful ones in handling covid 19, but now due to these jalsas it maybe be one of the worst. I mean we have asked people not to pray in Mosques, suspend their religious pilgrimages, cause loss of business by shutting hotels and halls - but nah our intellectuals want this freak-show to continue.

Anyway NRO here means respite in court cases that is hurting the ego and finances of certain dynastic political rulers, who think its their God given right to be above law and extract money from the public with impunity. The proposals to change NAB laws is a form a NRO, that they attempted while passing anti money laundering laws needed for FATF. Eventually they failed as PTI refused to budge in and passed the laws in a joint session.
