LAHORE – The Acting Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Ch Muhammad Aslam Saleemi on Friday had called upon the government to demand for a meeting of the UN immediately to raise voices against the Zionist attacks on Gaza resulting in heavy casualties.
In a statement, he condemned the Zionist attacks on Gaza and said that Israel was continuing atrocities on the innocent Palestinians only because it enjoyed US backing.
He said that it was only due to the anti Islam and anti Muslim policies of the US that the Zionists and the Hindus were shedding the blood of Muslims in Palestine and Kashmir.
Aslam Saleemi said that the rulers were a real hurdle in the liberation of occupied Palestine and Kashmir.
He said that scores of resolutions had been moved in the United Nations against the genocide of the Muslims in the two states but no action could be taken only because of US patronage of Israel and India. He demanded the government to summon the US envoy in the country and lodge official protest over the Israeli atrocities.
He also appealed the world community to take notice of the Palestinians’ massacre and protest over the unlawful Zionist occupation of Palestine and Qibla-i-Awwal besides the recurring attacks on Gaza.

ohh please..the last thing we want is more enemies than we can handle. We should be raising voices against foreign funding of terrorist in our borders.

Yes and its time to apply Muslim Ummah medicine to those who voted for us - by raising the issue of terrorism funding in the name of religion by a number of middle eastern countries and their private donors!

NO we can't do that these countries are like second home for our politicians ( infact 1st home pakistan is second home ) plus our country is running on the money being sent from these countries by pakistanis its a vicious circle my friend.

Slavery only last as long as people enslaved believe in it. There are more Indians working in those countries and they know very well how much support they can ever get from India in any issues with Israel yet they keep sucking up to India. Standing up and being confident count, submission does not.

These are the sentiments and views of me, you and every other pakistani but who will that to incumbent people running the govt.

I think Pakistan has already condemned the act in United Nations. What else can we do besides that. It is time to recognize Israel and open an embassy there so we can talk to the peaceful segmnent of their society.

I only speak for myself Brother. Having Diplomatic relationship with Israel is in Pakistan's best Interest in my humble Opinion.
