PTI ignoring IDPs by focusing on long march: ANP

LAHORE: Awami National Party secretary general Ahsaan Wyen has urged Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf to divert its energies and resources to the resettlement of the internally displaced persons (IDPs) rather spending millions of rupees on staging long march and sit-in.
Talking to APP on Sunday, he said more than one million IDPs badly need the attention of PTI backed provincial in KPK but the PTI leadership was busy in staging a long march for the promotion of its vested interest, setting aside a major issue of helping IDPs. He said that IDPs should be special guests of the KPK Province as they left their homes for a greater cause to support Pakistan Army in the ongoing operation “Zarb e Azb” against terrorists. “What we have observed that instead of lending support to IDPs, PTI is spending millions of rupees on its long march and sit in which aim at derailing the present democratic system”, he asserted.
He alleged Imran Khan has no time for the people of the province and he was bent upon for launching protests against the Federal Government for hiding his party’s failure in the KPK. Wyen said the PTI was not practising the democratic politics to resolve the issues of terrorism at a time when its armed forces were waging a war against terrorists. “We are facing the biggest problems of terrorism and energy crisis and instead strengthening the Federal Government on these important issues, the PTI was utilizing its energies on non allied issues which was quite unfortunate “, he added.
He said that seriousness of the PTI leadership and its provincial government in KPK has been fully exposed as they stayed away from National Security Conference. “Democracy always bases on dialogue but Imran is not willing to sit on a platform for a dialogue with the government as all other major national political parties realized the important of national security conference and attended it,” he added. He said the Parliament was the ideal forum to solve the political and other national issues and it is in the larger interest of the democracy that the ultimate solution be made in the parliament.
The ANP leader was of the view that Imran was playing a dangerous game which may lead the country Martial’s law as there was no constitutional solution of his undue demands. He appealed the leaders of all political parties to assemble at one platform to find out peaceful resolve of the current situation.

Parliament is the best place to remove the err of the system. Such protest, very very sadly speaking, leads to bloodshed.

Kudo to police for thwarting the attack on PTI by terrorist [enemy of Pakistan]. The march is basically inviting outsider to openly attack on PTI/PAT; and failure to protect them would be blamed on PMLN; quite frankly as it is not equipped to deal with too many crises simultaneously.

Point to be noted as ANP has raised crucial points concerning the matter of derailing the process of democracy as well as changing the priority from IDPs to long march that requires million rupees, Allahu Alim.
