Doesn't make a difference. It is the job of the police to follow up on potential criminal cases, not the disciplinary panel of a political party. PTI has done it's job - so far. If criminal charges are bought against him and he is found guilty, then they should act further, until then, it's up to the police, the victim and the courts.

The new government has talked alot about police reforms. Lets see if that works

Considering that it is his first offense and that he had already seeked forgiveness from the victim, i think the fine will do for now. On saying that if he does something like this again then kick him out of the parliament and throw him in jail.

If he already apologised and also paid the fine...why not. We need to promote tolerance and not hate.

It is like saying that Nawaz Sharif can apologizes in person as pays the small fine, would you still maintain that tolerance must promoted? We are seeing little glimpse of PMLN already in PTI.

That 'poor' guy is a civil servant and he was hurling verbal abuse at others before he got slapped.

Being a government employee, he should not have been swearing at a civilian he had hit into with his official car.

Action should be taken against him for his wrong as well.
