• Massive protests erupted in Pakistan occupied Kashmir on Wednesday over the authenticity of the elections held on 21 July. The elections resulted in Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) taking 32 of the 42 seats.
  
  
• The protests have spread across the towns of Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Chinari and Mirpur. The administration in Pakistan has issued a warning to clamp down on any reporting by media.
  
  
• Protestors allege that the genuine voters were not allowed to cast their votes and also claimed that the elections were rigged. The locals want a neutral face to oversee the election process.

Since last 15 days the green brigade was opening thread after thread of the 'injustices' done to Kashmiris by Indians. Now they are denying even the very basic right of Kashmiris to vote. This is clear injustice.

Government of India has to react very strongly. It is no use just issuing some useless statements. Pakistanis know that India would not raise this issue because it would 'internationalize' Kashmir. If we claim them to be our people, we have to champion their plight.

Actually the ones protesting are from PPP (Pakistani Party) against PML (N) (Pakistani Party). So whats the issue here? U shud also report PTI's protests against PML (N) and so on. Whats the point here bdw?

The issue is Kashmir doesn't belong to Pakistan.

Awwwww U have felt the pain of poor Kashmiris. How about blaming ISI for that and taking the issue to UN? Also plz do take PTI's (Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf's) case to UN too who are protesting against rigged elections since 2013. On the contrary now shud we meddle into your affairs and start supporting AAP and Congress against BJP? Heck no. Its none of our concern.

How does a muslim majority state whose culture, faith and language extends into Northern Pakistan not belong to Pakistan

Its what partition was about, separating our two people's, it was indians who just wanted eternal hostility so decided to occupy a muslim majority state
